I heard that plant-based meat is anything but plant-based! Or am I thinking of Sprouts?

These things aren't healthy and are rumored to be lab grown instead. Some even claim that they are made with a particular ingredient that I won't say.

As for the rest, I assume the fruits and vegetables are "organic" as they claim to be.

Anyways, I don't see how businesses can survive San Francisco with the way things are. I will not be surprised if Seattle suffers the same fate!

Nutritionist's analyzed the most popular fake meat product and said meat was healthier.

Nutritionist's tend to agree that the more a food is processed (altered from it's natural state) the less healthy it is for you. The Beyond meat products use meat-derived flavoring in their products. It's also very high in sodium, which many smart people avoid.

I have relatives in Mercer Island - they never leave the island. The Beast of Redmond has, (I believe) cursed the Seattle area.

Whatever sigil of greatness Bill Gates may once have had no longer exists. I think he has become a dangerous, destructive individual without the capacity for genuine self-reflection.

Heh, I've never been to Mercer Island in my entire life (or maybe I've only been there once).

It's kind of funny that I've never been to the top of the Space Needle in my entire life as well (I've been to the bottom half at least), despite being originally from Seattle! Someone should make a Space Needle puppet.

Anyways, there's no saving Washington State (and maybe Arizona too). But, I'll at least enjoy what little remains of it.

And yeah, the irony is that the so-called "plant-based" meat is unhealthy, despite it's intentions to be a healthier alternative.

Also, Walmart is closing several stores in Chicago for the same reason.

That "discordia" term is from a Stephen King series (The Dark Tower). In the world King created for the story, the world is breaking down, regressing generally in every way. When something especially poignantly destructive or troubling occurs, it is common for people to muse, "Ah!Discordia!!" lamenting the prevalent degeneration of everything.

BTW, that King series was uneven and often ponderously plodding (at best) but I liked that specific thing about it, above.
