For those of you lucky enough to have lived through the 80s, would it be fairly accurate to say that you felt happier back then?

I couldn't help but notice happier people in various archived 80s footage from YouTube now used in many strange music videos called "vaporwave," which is a genre focusing on nostalgia (which can be related, but not limited to the 80s).

Nostalgia is like a drug. The more you watch it, the more depressed you become. Maybe that's just me.

Gen Z seems to be the more depressed generation (or at least I noticed).

But happiness is subjective, right?
