Back when I was young, I was blessed with having watched Fred Rogers and LeVar Burton (yes, the actor who played LaForge in Star Trek TNG) on TV growing up.


It certainly isn't a beautiful day in the neighborhood anymore, is it?

No, it's not. I have come to my own conclusion that either God is going to give us another chance, or He will lay down a Judgment on this nation as he did to Israel....The undertones of all that is happening points

For me, prayer to God is a way of aligning my antenna, tuning my "wavelength" better to God's POV.

It helps me to be a better Christian. It is closely linked in my own mind to the idea, "...not my will, but Thine".  

Because I believe that God's power and knowledge are infinitely greater than mine, I don't feel I need to beg for specific things to be done for those who are worthy. God already knows and cares about His children far more than I ever could. 

That is how I look at prayer, but I don't require others to endorse my POV.
