I think it's fairly safe to say that the 'Crats have some major problems to deal with going into the '24 election cycle.

Namely problems in just about every arena of public policy debate. Their numbers are badly underwater in the most important issues, such as the economy, national defense, border security.

Xiden has only 24% positive on question, "Should Xiden seek a second term?" That is the general population. He polls underwater with his own party on the same question, albeit closer to 35%. They'd better get those vote-fraud projects up and running by November 2024 or there are going to be a lot of unemployed 'Crats around the country in January '25.

It's clear that they either can't or won't turn their policies around before the election, so massive criminal fraud seems to be their only realistic hope to continue the march toward One Party Radical Revolutionary Marxist Socialist Oligarchy to replace this troublesome, unwieldy free-representative constitutional republic nonsense.

There seems to me to be a groundswell of public desire for accountability for Xiden and the 'Crats for all of the blatant corruption and grotesque incompetence.

Apparently a lot of people who voted for the 'Crats before are not willing to suffer the consequences of allowing them to continue to run naked and cross-eyed through the fields of Marxist lunacy. Not when their businesses fail, their property values go down, their retirement savings take major hits, their children are beset by drug-dealers on the streets and radical revolutionary socialist drag queens in the halls at school.

Remember, it's a binary decision.

LFL,

There is no 1.1 or 2.2, it's 1 or 2, no other choice.

How long will the Dems cling to "Biden," knowing all the time that he is the wrong guy.
How much damage will Trump do before we all accept that his time has passed?  Will he accept it when we do?

It's a coin toss.

Regards,
Russ

I personally prefer DeSantis at this point, but I'm fine with DJT (he is wholly electable IMO).

DeSantis polls only slightly lower than DJT with Republicans/conservatives and only a little higher with the general population. Either one of them would be able to turn this ship around and purge the cacogenic element from federal government.

Only if we have free and fair elections. AZ, GA, PA, and several other states still have severe election integrity issues.

As do I. I think both are electable.

LFL --

I particularly like DeSantis because he could serve two terms.

However, they have to run against each other head-to-head first.
As was pointed out by Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) from a campaigning perspective Trump will damage Ron so badly that even if Ron wins the primary, he will be beaten up so badly he has a poor shot of winning the general election.

The crats don't need a good candidate. They did not have one last time and it did not matter. They will fearmonger the public.
At the same time, they will get every organization and 'charity' to do PSA on voting. Their base may be unenthusiastic, but promised enough free stuff and convinced via media to vote, can still carry the day.
And that is before any vote tampering. They still have plenty of judges to say we MUST allow ballot harvesting and other practices that make it impossible to stop cheating.
