What is the best zinger of the year IMO from journalist Stephen Miller who wrote of her humiliating, crushing defeat, "Perhaps Lori Lightfoot would have won if thousands of her voters were not shot."

A small victory, but her next potential successor is a Democrat as well (all candidates). Time will tell if the next mayor will do a better job or simply be another Lightfoot.
I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she knows the real reason and is just spouting that crap for the political bias.
OTOH, she has zero that anyone would want to make her vote for her.
I don't know anything about her opponents, but can't see how they could be much worse than she was.
Maryland has crappy politics and Baltimore is not much better than Chicago, so I don't have any reason to think we are better governed, but at least that is one idiot down.
Our new governor is at least not an idiot, so maybe we can do better, despite his liberal agenda. Have to wait and see.
Rush said anti-conservative fanatics are always trying to force people to have opinions about and discuss things that they don't care about at all. Like two-year-olds having a tantrum they won't TOLERATE being ignored.
