I am the male version of Seinfeld's Elaine Beness. 

The last time I tried to dance in public the authorities were called. As I protested, they merely nodded and smiled as I was led away against my will but in full compliance with everyone else's.

I've been accused of trying to dance - and convicted. 

It is not for lack of trying, merely lack of a natural ability to display anything remotely resembling grace or coordination.
