OH: Senate votes to allow concealed carry of guns without training or background checks

Both the House and Senate have now passed separate but similar versions of “constitutional carry” or “permitless carry” legislation, as it’s commonly known. Lawmakers will have to agree on a final version to send to Gov. Mike DeWine.

A DeWine spokesman said Wednesday the governor is reviewing the bill and noted he has “long supported the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.”

Ohio supreme court opinion: The right to bear arms, Pfeifer wrote, is fundamental, but not without limitations.

Naked non sequitur. The very distinction of certain rights as fundamental removes exceptions from the table.

LIBERTY HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE

Liberty is paramount. Government is an afterthought.

Democrats wouldn't buy a clue if it was government subsidized.

Liberals are people who stand on their heads and insist that the world is upside-down.

100% control equals ownership. ACFs confuse this eternally.

The "control" of the Right to Bear Arms belongs to God and the People in that order. The government is subordinate to both. Leftists want the government on top, which is unconstitutional and as you pointed out nicely Primecut, an immutable fact of settled law, not a "talking point" or something subject to "interpretation".

I often muse about how the ambition of the far left is to use the Constitution to annihilate itself from existence/power. They want the Constitution to be self-erasing. As if it has a "sunset clause".
