The look on her face is priceless.
LFL will comment on the crossed arms posture.

Americans Are Having A Lot Less Sex. Here's Why?

I didn't read the article to find out why.

My observation has been anecdotal but I'm pretty sure I'm onto something. When I attend functions or even just related to neighbors, I find so many women are real bitches. The women's movement has turned

the into either weak-sisters or overwhelmingly manly creatures. Who would want either?

When I see TV ads, programs, etc. the men are always buffoons who don't know which way is up. They cow-tow to whatever the women say and it's infuriating. But, then again, could be the soy in so much food :)

In times of increased stress, most normal males tend to withdraw into their own resources/diversions. Many (most) normal females tend to want to engage/relate more in times when they personally feel insecure/upset.

This can often create a conflict.

That is a well-staged photo because yes, the woman is NOT happy (her body-language is screaming this), while the male is fine.

In relation to sex (I will read the article but haven't as of this writing) the old truism is I think largely correct - when it comes to sex, males need an opportunity, women need a reason. The joy many women derive from making love is the increased "closeness" that results, not so much the physical pleasure of either person. Obviously many males often feel very differently - for them (us) the emotional closeness is just a nice extra.

Vivid memories of a woman who once told a lady at dinner,
"Tennis is my second favorite physical activity, and it keeps me in good shape for my first favorite,"

Take care,
Russ

One of the hallmarks of Robert Heinlein's female characters even before the "Sexual Revolution" was that they were very secure in their enjoyment of being women.

The exceptions are right, "the rule" is wrong . . .

The aforementioned tennis player introduced me to the story of Tiresias, from Greek mythology, who gave it about a 1 to 10 difference.  She concurred.

Take care,
Russ

Though none save Tiresias may ever know for sure.

The source of my own skepticism is the abundance of unkempt, clumsy, ill-mannered, ignorant males I observe in the general population.

One cannot make a diamond necklace out of lumps of coal.
