DeSantis offers conservatives a roadmap for how to fight the culture wars and win

I wish Trump had put his ego aside and endorsed DeSantis.  DeSantis could win, and be a two-term President.

Regards,
Russ

I wish they had run together and Trump serve one year and give it to DeSantis. Ego doesn't bother me, they all have massive ego, his mouth is what bothers me.

One cannot win without the other IMHO.

DJT's "fight dirty and often" strategery is a double-edged sword.

Political scholar/commentator Joseph Sobran once observed that, "It serves the political left when political discourse becomes focused on emotions/bias rather than rational discussion."

The problem with polemics is that it mobilizes the opponents to bigger turnouts and more strident resistance. This was clearly a factor in the last national election, since DJT's endorsed candidates were nearly shut out in swing-states.

Another axiom of politics is that self-described "moderate" voters dislike negativity and ideologues. Getting mired in the weeds of pissing contests on Twitter sticks in the craw of many non-aligned and undecided voters.

They want you to believe that, but it's not true. They targeted the swing states for ballot harvesting and the people counting the votes were MCCAINIACS. There is plenty of proof of the cheating, Late.

Over 72 REPUBLICAN polling places were unable to count at least 25% of the votes. Many poll workers stated it was much more than 25%, sometimes no votes counted in deep red areas.

Several counties noticed big time irregularities and are delaying the certification process. It was a huge mess just as the Dems wanted, just like in 2020 when they opened 60+ polling places after 10:00 a.m and a few never opened. They got away with it, and pulled the stunt on an even larger scale in 2022. Republicans are idiots to let this go.

As long as 2020 and 2022 aren't fixed, no Republican will win the white house again (probably)

Do I like DeSantis better than Trump? Yes. He has a much better personality.

Is he a great governor? Of course, the best in the nation.

Will he win the 2024 election if selected as the nominee? I doubt it.

As long as states like AZ, PA, MI, and others continue to have election fraud in place, DeSantis doesn't stand a chance. Neither does Trump. As I've said before, we're on our own to fix the country.

And even if Kari Lake is a strong fighter, I've seen few people have been going out to protest the issues in Arizona. Very likely people will be aware and upset of election fraud, but not do much like people in Brazil until we've reached bottom low.

When the country finally goes down, when enough Americans are physically and mentally hurt by the dictatorship taking over, when it finally affects their personal lives to the breaking point, only then will they realize their mistakes and start protesting. It will be too late by then. Fatigue and lack of motivation are part of this, I believe. Prevention is the best defense, but it's easier said then done.

I hope I'm proven wrong two years later.
