Why is this federal judge so insistent on limiting poll-watching?

Recently, a Trump-appointed federal judge ruled that Clean Elections USA (AZ) can’t record, take photos, or stand within 75 feet of ballot boxes. What?

A limit of some kind is reasonable.

The limited bit the story tells us little to nothing useful about how aggressive the poll watchers have or have not been.

I'm sure most of the people here cried "foul" at a previous election where New Black Panthers had people in military garb and weapons at polling places.

Sadly, ballot boxes are effectively polling places.

75 feet is plenty close to watch and record.

But the judge changing his mind at the last minute is not

I heard recently that the corrupted judge now decided to ban video and photo-taking under any circumstances (correct me if I’m wrong). That is not reasonable. At this point, I believe the judge is overstepping his authority and must leave those watchers alone. Let them help to stop ballot-harvesting.

And for the other comments, Brazil is a sad reminder that our freedom is being taken away one country at a time. Unfortunately, voters do suffer political fatigue even if good people are in power (think Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper).

It’s almost impossible to keep conservatives, libertarians, or populists in power forever. Voters are humans too. Sadly, voters have to see the hard work of conservatives destroyed by socialists in order to see the consequences. That is what Tyrant Trudeau did to Canada. But, many uninformed people will simply deny they made a bad decision. And I have to accept that this is how it goes these days.

We,"...have to accept that this is how it goes..." with democracy. But we don't have to like it.

There is a down side to democracy - an uninformed  (or misinformed) voting populace cannot support a healthy democracy. One of the Founders went so far as to state the opinion, "...only a religious (LFL:"moral, ethical") population can sustain a free representative system of governance."

Wow, was that guy ever on target. See, by "religious" he didn't really mean what that would mean today so much as "normal, socially responsible," IOW the polar opposite of on average at least 1/3 of the voting population of most so-called "free" nations.

When the voting population ceases to be either able or willing to edumacate (sic) themselves in how they are governed and more-importantly how they SHOULD be governed, things go south from time-to-time.

The alternative is fascism (oligarchy) or worse, so there's that.

Seems like we won’t know what happens until election day

Now I just found out that the Brazilian president is allowing the transition to proceed without admitting defeat. Won’t jump to conclusions, but Brazil is doomed if he gives up.

So:

1. FAUX-10 displayed the results showing Krooked Hobbs winning 12 days early

2. Brnovich suspiciously pursued legal action against True The Vote and calls election fraud claims “h********”

3. Potential thieves caught covering plates of vehicles being used for ballot harvesting

4. Hobbs threatened legal action against Cochise County for doing a full hand-count and appears to have succeeded

5. Most polls are too close for comfort, and Hamadah and Finchem are both trailing badly in recent but limited polls.

Of course, I’ll do my part and vote in-person only with a ball-point pen for Lake, Masters, Finchem, Hamadah, and other Republicans. But there’s been a lot of uneasy news lately.

So, either the election will be called for Lake at night (maybe unlikely), called for Hobbs, or be another 2020 repeat where they simply stop counting and dump all of the ballots and cheat (and not call the election for days). I hope Lake (and all of the Trump-endorsed candidates) wins.

Brazil has always whipsawed back and forth between fairly decent conservative governments and horribly corrupt socialist government.

One of the on-going problems for politicians is that comforting lies often have greater emotional appeal than unpleasant realities. 'Crats (radical revolutionary socialists) have had that advantage for decades.

Tucker exposed the CIA/State Dept./Biden representatives who went to Brazil months ago to threaten Bolsonaro to step down if he loses. What business is that of ours? They worked hand in hand with Klaus Schwaub who supported Lula who is a WEF

golden boy. Lula had little support except by the media. Bolonaro drew crowds galore like Trump. Lula couldn't get 12 people to show up. I watched the voting in the early hours and it was a wipeout of Lula, by midnight he won. So like the US election in 2020. But when a swing state has thousands of bogus votes  unsigned ballots and ballots signed (1,2,3 Dummy), you gotta know you're in trouble....
