This little gem was obtained from an NFL article about the Matt Ryan trade:  (emphasis added)

"The Falcons will compete, beginning with Marcus Mariota
as the bridge QB. The former first-round pick is experienced in Arthur
Smith's offense from their time together in Tennessee. Mariota is the
type of QB who can run an offense well enough to evaluate other
positions while probably not rising to a level that would keep the
Falcons from having a high draft pick."

In more local terms, "He won't piss in the soup."

Much of the "primal gesticulation" Xiden does reminds me of Jack Nicholson's portrayal of POTUS in director Tim Burton's loony-but-hilarious When Mars Attacks.

The Capital building, and half of Congress have been destroyed in a Martian attack. Nicholson (as the president) escapes, then on T.V. from a bunker gives the People the high sign, over-confident grin, brags;

Nicholson: (President): It's true that the Capitol Building and the House of Representatives have been destroyed, but the Executive Branch and the Senate are still intact...AND TWO-OUT-OF-THREE AIN'T BAD!!"
