If you're familiar with NextDoor, this appeared this a.m. One of the neighbors in another cut de sac posted this. She was attacked by one liberal man, but he was beaten to a pulp by the women with firearms!!

Kate is so cool. She a conservative, of course:

Stranger in neighborhood early this morning ( 6:20am ) approached me as i was walking my dog back from Keats Park. He came up along side me in a Blue 4 door sedan and rolled down the passenger window and asked me, hows it going ..i didnt answer, he asked again. I said, keep moving. He said, are you mad at me? & started to get out of his car and i drew my firearm and told him to leave before i blew him away. He saw it & without a word shut the door and left going east down Keats, took a right on Sterling. Thank God I had a firearm.
POLICE WERE CALLED, THEY ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HIM. BE AWARE, BE CAREFUL.

Defensive firearm use usually requires just showing it.

Russ, truly, they are effective deterrents. I believe I read a study that just showing a firearm usually settles the issue. The leftist who attacked her felt the ire of all of the women on the app.

I was so happy with the reaction of the other women. They weren't willing to mess around! They spoke of their training and even the weapons that are best for women.

The "study" probably understates, because most such incidents are not reported to anybody, and are not memorable.

I have two such incidents in my own history.  I posted about them before.

Another I like was a little more than just showing.  My daughter got a new neighbor -- a Guatemalan with a little too much testosterone, and was showing her unwanted attention (despite having a wife and kids), and making semi-sexual comments in Spanish (which she speaks).

She has her CCW permit and lives on a one-acre lot kinda back in the woods.  It's kinda country and it's legal for her to practice there.  She changed her practice site from the back lot to a more frontal location where he can see her. 

She said he watched her for a while.  Since then, he has been excessively polite and no more sexual innuendoes.

Funny how that works, huh.
