...not to be disagreeable but first off it's Carl with a "C". More importantly (inhale) NOT everyone who understands or discusses Jungian concepts is a cacogenic anti-conservative-fanatic, narcissist. Though some definitely are, "...devoid of intelligence, knowing NOT what is rightfully to be done and not to be done".*

Just the other day I had a conversation about Jung's ideas with a long-time family friend who is a conservative judge. We discussed Jung's reconciliation concepts - uniting opposites under the One (Joseph Campbell's work on myths is integral).

Jung was circumspect about things like intellect. He stated that he didn't think his greater concepts would be generally discussed or accepted by many for at least a thousand years (thirty generations).

Starting from the time he made that statement, we still have about twenty-nine generations to go. He was not given to flagrant or casual optimism.

Most leftists/ACFs are incapable of understanding Jung's greater concepts - for instance, that he was a theist, not an atheist or that he was a fierce proponent of individualism far more-closely aligned with someone like Arthur Koestler, Dostoevsky, Ayn Rand or Nietzsche than Statist oligarchy (like Marx/Engelsism or any of their pathogenic bastard offspring).

*Bhagavad Gita - From commentary on "Divine and Demonic Personalities" Vivek would recognize that quote.
