There are a lot of good parallels between Vedantism (Yoga/ Hinduism) and Christianity. 

People are generally ignorant about Vendantism - most spell-checkers can't even recognize the term. heh 

The Holy Scripture of Vendantism are the Baghavad Gita ( The Song of God) and some say also the Upanishads and the Shastric Scriptures.

There are some very advanced ideas in those scriptures which dovetail nicely with Christian doctrine.
