I think the last time I checked was in December of last year, when an average of 14-15 people per week were getting murdered in Southern Mexifornia. It's since climbed to an average closer to 20 per week. 

 Shootings/stabbings/beatings have also increased by about the same percentage since then - nearing 100 per week. The public officials have started doctoring the stats to try to conceal the explosion of violent crime from the public - but that is wearing thin on most communities. People are getting sick of not just the effects of the crime/violence, but also the endless idiotic excuses and blatant, endless, transparent 'Crat gaslighting.

Yes, the murder rate will be "historic" this year - again. It would have to be cut by 50% for the rest of the year to avoid being near an all-time record level.  

Cratsplaining is wearing thin on the populace, even many of the 'Crats themselves.
