I'm just guessing but it makes sense that Walmart will open other stores in the area - just not one easily accessible to vagrants, meth heads and ethnoscum.

Walmart is not likely to give up without a struggle to hold onto the hundreds of millions of $ in revenue they'd be harvesting each year from two stores. Even if they moved the location ten miles away, a lot of their customers would 'prolly consider it worthwhile to make the commute.

What's sort of amusing is how the still-left-leaning Walmart PR people are avoiding any discussion of shoplifting/violence (driven by blacks, Mexicans, vagrants, drug-addicts) being the driving force behind the decision to evacuate. All they talk about publicly is "not profitable enough". heh

Everyone knows Portland is one of the sanctuary cities on the left coast that no longer enforces laws against theft (except against white people and Asians of course). It will be interesting to see if this is a trend that will move the needle regarding political choices for the voters.
