Lightfoot, who saw the biggest increase in murders, gang-related violence and exodus of businesses from the city in history during her term, along with an openly-hostile approach to law enforcement, blamed instead racism and sexism (fleeing instantly for her Permanent Victim Status).

What is the best zinger of the year IMO from journalist Stephen Miller who wrote of her humiliating, crushing defeat, "Perhaps Lori Lightfoot would have won if thousands of her voters were not shot."
