One thing that I have noticed around where I live is that when local elections roll around the candidates that do not state what affiliation they are always turn out to be democrats. I take that as a sign that they, themselves, see their party as toxic and do not want the stigma attached to them. Didn't work for them this last time as the republicans managed to win despite lots of last minute cheating by the dems. |
