He lives in a wash bordering a lower-income 100-unit condo complex we patrol. There is also a shopping center next door to that where we also have a contract - he and I have tangled before. 

Recently Aquaman was seen in the condo complex doing what is called a "hot-prowl" (roaming through the parking lots trying car doors to see if they are unlocked). We confronted him about it at one point and informed him officially as legal agents of the owner that he was not allowed on the property for any reason at any time for the rest of his life. He was told that if he was seen there, he would be reported to law enforcement as a trespasser. 

For months he stayed away, but recently we started seeing him in the condo complex again. He had also been loitering at the shopping center where he was also told to stay off the property if he was not shopping (loitering is a misdemeanor). 

I confronted him (from the safety of my patrol car) and asked him what he thought he was doing - reminded him that he was trespassing and would go to jail if LEOs were called. He flipped out.  Accused me of "harassing" him, (I've never heard THAT one before) then shouted he was going to kill me and charged.

He was babbling a lot of "woke" bullshit the whole time (oppression). It was a little like confronting Dostoevsky's Raskolnikov except that Aquaman held no hatchet. 

I didn't want to do the paperwork that would be required if I tased him, so I retreated to my car. He again shouted that he would kill me, grabbed the handle of the car door and tried to pull it open to get at me. Futility itself. My hand was already on my taser with the safety off and the clasp of my firearm unsnapped. He did not have a visible weapon, so I hit the accelerator which easily pulled the handle of the door out of his hand. 

I drove a good distance away from him and called the sheriff's office to report the incident. I then went next door to the shopping center to do some patrolling there. After a minute, in my rearview mirror I saw him trying to sneak up behind me as I sat in the patrol car writing a parking ticket (presumably to try to kill me as he had threatened). 

I was on the phone with the sheriff's office dispatch when this happened. I didn't really expect a deputy to show up, but one did. He pulled alongside my car, asked what happened, then saw the suspect, pulled him over as he hoofed it out of the area trying to catch a bus.  

The deputy single-handed cuffed him, put him up against the patrol car, waiting for another car (going back to base) to come and transport him. I asked the deputy what would happen to him and he said that he was known to them as a psycho, likely be shipped down to county lock-up in the psych ward to be held on a 5150 (psycho) for observation by shrinks. Then he'd likely have to see a judge before being released or committed to a psych lock-up/county jail. 

'Deputy said Aquaman might be charged with assault, making threats or other crimes if he admitted this, misdemeanor trespassing or mebbe' just causing a disturbance. 

'Haven't seen Aquaman since. 

He's probably happier in jail than sleeping under the bridge with the cockroaches, rats, mosquitos and deer-flies.
