The difference in this case is that there are 74 million who won't shut up, and are not likely to be cowed.

In all of those societies, it's a top-down culture. Normal to them is being bossed around by their 'betters.'

Most Americans are uppity, culturally and historically, and have no intention of being pushed around. The "woke" assholes think so, but they haven't had yet to pay a price. Once folks start bloodying their noses (and on this track, that will ultimately happen), they may start to experience, uh, 'epiphanies.'

Big difference.

I point to the allegory in The Patriot, wherein Benjamin Martin refused to support the colonies instead arguing that endless pleading was the only appropriate action - until a British officer shot his son in the back right in front of his eyes. After that, all hell broke loose.

Granted, it's a fictional, anecdotal analogy, but it illustrates a common thread in people who have been bred in American civil liberty. There is a threshold beyond which we absolutely will not be pushed.

We haven't reached that threshold yet, but we are wary of its impending approach. I submit that military and police personnel who have seen combat and who know firsthand what happens when that force is unleashed will not stand for it happening to their families and friends, ergo, their country.

And the globalists know (and curse) this ingrained American quality. It stands directly in their path.

Democrats wouldn't buy a clue if it was government subsidized.

Liberals are people who stand on their heads and insist that the world is upside-down.
