I looked at the figures today. If you subtract the infections in heavily Latino communities like San Fernando Valley, Sylmar, Canyon Country, Saugus, Castaic, Mission Hills, Pacoima, Boyle Heights, Mt. Washington, El Sereno, Central/East L.A., Silverlake, Compton - California has one of the lower infection rates in the nation.
Even the lower-income ethnic groups in other communities do not have the problem Latino enclaves do for some reason. Not blacks or even Asians.
I think it's partly the fact that distancing is very intrusive to the sort of lifestyle most Latinos have - so they can't tolerate the restrictions well for long (they fatigue psychologically).
