By that reasoning, the SCOTUS couldn't strike down unconstitutional laws. I don't think the Court will agree.

The Congress can (and does) pass unconstitutional laws. The Court can nullify them with a stroke of the gavel. The Congress can (and does) issue subpoenas; they can't legitimately do so as a fishing expedition, and releasing information from dubious subpoenas for political purposes, where the expectation of privacy attaches and causes injury, is justiciable.



Democrats wouldn't buy a clue if it was government subsidized.
