We need to really stop calling these vermin whistle-blowers - let's just call them what they are - moles.

The laws and procedures of the Constitution and other things are meant in large part, to prevent moles from infiltrating the government and then acting as agents to essentially attack the president in order to injure, impair, damage or destroy him.

Imagine if in the private sector, a lower-level functionary with ties to enemies of the chief executive on the call, and access to the text of a highest echelon phone conversation took that information to the press or to some outside agency to use as a basis for claiming that it is evidence of some sort of a crime (verbal behavior with ambiguous meaning).

Imagine the CEO of any large corporation putting up with something like that for ten minutes. The lawyers would have the perpetrator in jail in less than 24 hours. The only comment they would make would be "no comment. The perpetrator is in jail, that says it all".
