...which is sort of like being able to "see" emotions. The auras of violent, dishonest, wicked, parasitic or sadistic people are said to appear dark (like clouds) while normal, healthy, friendly people are said to appear light-filled with various intensities and pulses of color according to their subtle emotional state.

If true, this may help to explain why so-called "dumb" animals (those with a less-developed cerebral cortex) are yet often able to correctly detect when a person has ulterior motives or bad character the first time they encounter them.

I think Russ Walden may have a similar skill - judging by his success in business.
