I have a Roku3. I bought it primarily to use as a transfer device to watch movies that I have stored on my computer on the TV. Now, I also use it to access Prime Video. There is a lot of good stuff on there for free. I haven't looked at the Roku channel, but will check it out.
I think I could get 15-20 channels on my antenna, based on report by an acquaintance who lives up here and has same antenna. Time will tell how many Patriots games I can get. My main attachment to DirecTV was a service that allowed me to watch every Patriots (or any other team) game no matter where it was played. The feature didn't cost that much by itself, but to maintain DirecTV just for it made no economic sense, so I cancelled after the Super Bowl.
Thanks for the tip.
