And the suspense builds: (faux anxiety attack, wringing fists against temples) "OH! I DON'T THINK I CAN STAND IT!!!"

This Supreme Court Justice just dropped a big hint about retirement

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s health is one of the big mysteries in Washington.

Will she step down due to declining health?

Ginsburg turned the conversation on its head with this big hint about a possible retirement.

After nearly two months out of the public eye while she recovered from cancer surgery, Ginsburg finally appeared in public.

Democrats hoped this would put to rest speculation about a possible retirement, which would allow Donald Trump to permanently reshape the Supreme Court.

The Daily Caller reports:

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg made her first public appearance in over a month Monday. She was in attendance for the National Museum of Women in the Arts’ production of “Notorious RBG in Song,” in Washington, DC, according to The Washington Post.

Ginsburg underwent a medical procedure to remove cancerous nodules from her lungs back in December before Christmas. This was the third time she has been treated for cancer. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1999, but didn’t miss any official business while undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. A decade later, in 2009, she underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer.

A month before her surgery, the 85-year old Ginsburg fell in her office and suffered three broken ribs. Ginsburg had also fallen and broken two ribs in 2012.

If Ginsburg steps down from the nation’s highest court, it would give President Donald Trump his third opportunity to nominate a Supreme Court justice.

But Democrats’ hopes were not met.

Ginsburg announced she was skipping Trump’s State of the Union.

That will only increase speculation that her initial public appearance was just a one-off to try and calm down nervous liberals.

As long as Ginsburg misses Supreme Court oral arguments and avoids public appearances, speculation about her retirement will continue to hover over the court.

We will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.

LIBERTY HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE

Democrats wouldn't buy a clue if it was government subsidized.
