They are limited to petitioning for redress to the legislature. No court has the power to order the legislature to do ANYTHING. The most a court can do is to rule on existing law and strike anything that doesn't comport with the state and federal constitutions, and then make recommendations to the legislature viz potential remedies.

But the notion of a court ordering the legislature to create a law that theretofore didn't exist is, as Nino opined sarcastically, "worthy of the mad hatter".



Democrats wouldn't buy a clue if it was government subsidized.
