Anti-Porn Bills Advance in 3 States - Headline Health

Headline Health

(Anne Schindler, WTLV) A
bill labeling pornography a “public health crisis” that is both
“biologically addictive” and the root of a slew of criminal behaviors,
has been introduced before the Florida Legislature.

The
resolution calls for additional “prevention and policy changes” to
combat the negative impacts of pornography – which, according to the
bill, include mental illness, eating disorders and “a reluctance to
enter into marriage” …

star August Ames committed suicide in December after being harassed on
social media and accused of being homophobic over her refusal to
perform sex acts with bisexual male actors.

The
bill is co-sponsored by State Rep. Clay Yarborough – who is no stranger
to wanting to quash what he considers sexual content.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Will Florida Outlaw Porn?

“What I know is pornography is a big problem in our society and our state and our city,” Yarborough told First Coast News.

“Whatever
we can do to combat that and protect children and prevent the
objectification of women and future violent behavior that can result
from exposure to that long-term, that’s something I’m going to
support.”

Other states including Utah and Tennessee have passed similar resolutions. Read the full story at First Coast News.

Rep.
Yarborough - While I'm a firm supporter of the Judeo/Christian ethic, I
must tell you that yes, you do have a right to thump your Bible, but
you do NOT have a right to beat the citizens of Florida over the head
with it.

LIBERTY HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE

Democrats wouldn't buy a clue if it was government subsidized.
