Newsom declines to back reparations checks The media has been regularly and breathlessly reporting on the "progress" of the reparations committee, and some pretty big numbers have been tossed about. Each time, I have smiled and said to myself "Ain't gonna happen." California Gov. Newsom declines to back reparations checks
