Original Message:   Holy CRAP!! Here's a story you prolly won't see on Fox News...
...no need to post the article from Newsmax ( they're gloating because Fox is their primary competitor). Fox just settled with Dominion software for a little under 3/4 of $1 billion for airing defamatory stories about the software being involved in vote-fraud.

They messed up and it cost them. See, you can't say things about businesses, people or organizations that are untrue if the things you say have a severely damaging effect on them. Not without terrible financial risk.

It's odd that senior management was asleep at the wheel in this entire episode. Murdock himself stated several times to his subordinates that he was concerned about credibility issues - specifically litigation from things being said by some of the on-air personalities.

One hopes that people with whom you agree ideologically would be better able to sort out such things and avoid entanglements that cost close to $ 1 billion to escape.

The damage that was done politically to the GOP, with which Fox is synonymous in the minds of millions of viewers, is also severe. DJT made a big deal out of massive vote fraud allegations which never panned out as bad enough to have altered the election's outcome.

That sort of recklessness is ill advised. Duh.
