It's becoming safe to assume that third-world style corruption is now the new normal. It may have started with Xiden's braying about forcing the Ukraine's justice department to drop the probe into Hunter's connections to bribes, etc. Straight out of Catch-22 - "...act boastfully about that which you ought rightly to be ashamed."
