I have two speakers outside for music on the deck. One is easily seen from the sofa where I often read, as I have been doing today since it is drippy outside. Two birds, thrashers I think, have been busily engaged in building a nest on that speaker. I know they're building a new nest because I cleaned the old one off the speaker. They like that site because it's under the eaves for weather protection, and protected from predators by a pair of dachshunds that live out there. The thrashers are very progressive in that the male not only helps to build the nest, he will help to feed the young. It is the State Bird of Georgia. Regards, Russ
