But that is not always the fault of the adjudicators. Violation of election laws are sort of like a murder charge that has a one month statute of limitations. Unless some group has standing to halt the process of certification, violations become moot for adjudication and are therefore shoved into the political sector. 

Judges don't generally possess the authority to issue injunctions against certifying election results  - not because of the merits (facts) but because of procedural limits on their authority to act.
