But in one sense, complaining about corruption is sort of like complaining about glaciers. There is not even any discussion of eliminating waste and corruption from government in most campaigns these days. The last presidential candidate to put reform up front-and-center was Ross Perot. That did not go very well for the conservative movement or the nation. Like CG Jung mused in his biography, maybe check back in a thousand years to find a more mature global population capable of maintaining rational dialectic in public policy discourse.
