Deviates like to destroy because being detached from the genuine meritocracy, destruction is the only thing they are good at (because all it requires is unleashing chaos, then the destruction follows naturally).
Conservatives and other normal people want to reduce/eradicate chaos as much as possible - 'Crats simply want to politically-exploit the results of chaos. 'Crats want to oversee the dismantling (destruction) of the USA as overlords - but remain personally immune to all of the negative consequences of all the horror they intend to create.
