I'm cynical 'cause I know about very thin, transparent plastic threads which are invisible from more than five feet away - one of those could have been used to start the process, then guide it down the ramp. 

Or maybe just good luck that the wind dislodged it and gravity brought it down the ramp. I mean, most driveways are built to be slanted to one side to promote drainage so that would help explain it also.
