The Assorted Press is reporting that former Dukakis campaign manager Susan Estrich has persuaded Mr. Dukakis to hit the campaign trial for John Kerry.

Ms. Estrich said that Bush's alcoholism problem will emerge as the one thing to deep-six his presidency and Mr. Dukakis will tour the battleground states with the story. This story has traction said Ms. Estrich.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dukakis and John Kerry spent Sunday riding US Army tanks as a favor to the NY Times who had asked for some military hero type action shots.
