".......Give us a good reason to invade and claim territory that should be ours anyway."    ----- Mr. Teebone

"We keep the oil fields and Vancouver, then give the rest of it back to them." --- Mr. Russ Walden

Kerry Finally Finds Winning Issue to Run On

By The ASSORTED PRESS (TAP)

August 16, 2004 (TAP) -- Democrat candidate Senator John Kerry and the DNC say they have finally found an issue that has acceptance with the American public -- Canadian statehood.

Mr. Kerry, who reads the Rightminds and Patriot forum each day says he seriously believes that more Americans would support making Canada the 51st state than any other issue in the current DNC platform.

"This is something I can believe in and Democrats can identify with," said Kerry, a war hero. "A lot of Democrats lived in Canada during the Vietnam era, so it's like a second home for us. Plus, with socialized healthcare and half the country speaking a language other than English, we think Democrats have a natural constituency up there."

Between now and the November 2 elections, Mr. Kerry said, "I
will tout the benefits of requesting permission from the United Nations to have Canadians conduct a referendum on statehood".

Meanwhile, keeping a step ahead of Kerry, a White House spokesman said President Bush is ready to take direct pre-emptive action on this issue before the election.

The president and Mr. Rumfseld have been studying invasion scenarios. The most likely attack route is the so-called "Peace Bridge" between the two nations. Mr. Rumsfeld said earlier today that he expects no resistance from the Canadians, "...our once best friends are becoming more like the French every day, they will greet us with waving white flags".
