July 23, 2004 (TAP) – Justin Inch, the lead singer of a relatively unknown rock band last night made a bold, obscenity-laced statement protesting the Bush Administration during a gig in a Hackensack, NJ bar.

Mr. Inch's band, "The Vomit Lickers", was just finishing the second set at The Peace & Love, a downtown Hackensack bar, when the guitar player broke a string and Mr. Justin Inch had to "kill some time."

"Bush is a f-cking idiot," the singer shouted into the mic. The crowd greeted the statement with the evening's first smattering of applause, which encouraged Mr. Inch.

"No f-cking blood for f-cking oil! Give peace a f-cking chance," he continued. By the time the guitar was re-strung and tuned, several inebriated members of the crowd were on their feet chanting "Give Osama a f-cking chance!"

The Vomit Lickers band members say they're hoping that the New York Times or the Associated Press
will write a story about the event.

"We figure if Ozzie Osborne and whatever band he is singing with can get mentioned in an Associated Press story, so can we,” Mr. Inch said.

"Heck, Ozzie’s been around for a couple decades and he hasn't

had any hits, the only thing keeping that stoned drunk going is his

wife Sharon and their dysfunctional TV family.

A spokesman for Ozzie Osborne refuted the charge, saying that he

had several hits on the UK charts in the early 1990s, and one song, "The Game", reached number 51 on the U.S. charts.

"The success of Ozzie Osborne has earned him the right to speak

on global political issues," the unnamed spokesman said.
