Celebrities declare own war -- on Bush

By William Keck

In what's shaping up as one of the nastiest presidential races in decades, Bush-bashing is turning into an en vogue celebrity sport.

But unsolicited anti-Bush rhetoric, which appears to be spinning out of control, is alienating both Republicans and Democrats.

The most recent celebrity Bush-bashers:

Whoopi Goldberg , Ozzy Osbourne, Jadakiss and, Linda Ronstadt………………

And now from the Assorted Press:

July 21, 2004 (TAP) – Looking for ways to increase protest crowds, Hollywood celebrities organizing mass hate Bush protests will start offering a Michael Moore bobble-head doll to each person who joins their marches and rallies.

Protesters can register for the perk at www.Get-A-MichaelMoore.org, but must actually show up for an anti-Bush event to collect their limited-edition bobble-head doll.

"We're asking people to come out in the cold and stand around chanting for hours," said Whoopi Goldberg. "We felt we should offer this incentive of a liberal celebrity hero bobble-head doll to boost attendance."

Mr. Moore could not be reached for comment as he continued his marathon of interviews with adoring European and American media. The raw political propaganda filmmaker is revered in much of Europe as a statesman of the caliber of Franklin D. Roosevelt or Howard Stern.
