Kerry Avoids Dispute on liberal Charges of Forum Interference

By THE ASSORTED PRESS

KETCHUM, Idaho, Mar 23, 2004 (TAP) -- Hitting the slopes for the final time on his ski vacation, presumptive Democratic nominee John Kerry on Tuesday ducked a dispute over what some Liberals are calling a disguised Conservative effort to discredit or shut down the politically influential liberal Masters Forum formerly known as the Patriot.

``I don't know anything the f-ck about it,'' said the expletive-loving Kerry, questioned by reporters as he arrived at the ski slopes. ``It's my last hours here, have any of you guys seen that clumsy son of a bitch that's supposed to be guarding my ass?''

Charges were made by an unnamed liberal wearing a pink ski mask and identified only by the letter "B" and by two other liberals identified by a number and the initials "CS"; "...that an unidentified but known Conservative was seen lurking in the area carrying a monkey wrench that they believe he hurled into the Masters Forum's works".

Kerry declined to wade into that disagreement, saying he's asked to have a copy of the allegations
shipped to his vacation home, where he'll study the matter before commenting on the charges that certain Conservative posters were instrumental in shutting down the Masters "membership by invitation" only forum.

During his nearly week-long vacation at this upscale ski resort, Kerry has had little to say publicly even as the well known exclusive and influential Masters Political Forum remained shut down for repairs. However, Kerry wondered out loud, "why the complaining posters didn't go over to post at a nearby Conservative forum".

Kerry planned to return to Washington on Wednesday. Aides have said the Massachusetts senator needed a low-key vacation after the endless flip-flopping and backtracking he had to engage in during an intense primary campaign.

However, the pace is about to change dramatically. After returning to Washington, Kerry will hit the bash-Bush campaign trail on Thursday.
He also plans to meet with certain grieving unidentified left-wing posters who have been without a forum and a place to vent, fume, rant and rave against President Bush since March 20.

Note: At the request of an unidentified Masters forum official, actual Masters posters names have not been revealed.
