Political Forum TV Reality Show Spiked

June 3, 2004 (TAP) La-La Land -- Hollywood producers of a new reality show about Internet posters in a nonpartisan political forum said they're moving on to other projects after failing to find a buyer for the show, "Real Posters in the Patriot Forum."

Members of focus groups who watched the pilot program said they could not identify with the angry Leftist posters, and didn't trust any of those who identified themselves as liberals or Kerry supporters.

"Those folks on the left can’t seem to post anything that doesn’t bash the President or else they’re posting messages and stories from sources opposed to the war on terrorism," said one focus group participant, Mr. Udun Pissameoff. "At the bagel bakery where I work, we call those people Communist kooks, and we avoid them like the plague."
