The Assorted Press By Mel Tingpot Cindy Sheehan's Group Now Offering a George Clooney Bobble-head Doll
Check out the remarkable likeness between the new Hamas Prime Minister in Palestine and George Clooney. Other than a mutual anti-American bias, could they be in any way related? March 2, 2006 (TAP) —An Anti-war and anti-American group is offering a free George Clooney bobble-head doll to each person who can identify the real Clooney and who joins their protest marches and rallies. Protesters can register for the perk at www.Get-A-Clooney.org, but must actually show up for a protest event to collect their limited-edition bobble-head doll. “We’re asking Bush haters to come out in the cold and stand around chanting for hours,” said protest organizer Mr. Issodore, “We felt we should offer incentives to boost attendance — like baseball clubs do.”
Mr. Clooney could not be reached for comment as he continued his marathon of interviews with foreign left-wing newspapers. The star of movies and TV drama is revered in Hollywood as a statesman like Che, Fidel or Sean Penn.
